POEM: I Say Yes!

I say "Yes"
YES! to being my very best
YES! for living beyond the stress
I won't back down
and I won't give up
because although I have a half-filled cup
it doesn't mean I'm down on my luck
So YES! it's time to give more and not less
while being confident on passing these tests
keeping the faith and holding firm
and completing feats beyond the norm
there's no reason to doubt the victory
what could happen in one day
may not be seen again for a century
It's YES! for me all the way
and negatives won't be able to sway
the way I'm thinking and moving today
I keep positive in everything I say
and I say YES!
I'm staying on a good beat
YES! I'm strengthening my feet
for the journey is not easy
and it's not meant for the queasy
so YES!
Stand up
Stand firm
and lead!
